Robusta coffee is commonly grown in warmer, lower-elevation regions where its hardy plant can thrive. Major Robusta-producing countries include Vietnam, Brazil, Indonesia, India, and Uganda.
Because Robusta is more resilient to heat and certain pests, it performs well in tropical environments that may be less suitable for Arabica. Its adaptability is one reason it plays such an important role in the global coffee supply.
